MediBac Clearing® controls acne without compromising skin’s integrity, which means skin is clearer and healthier.

how it works

Aggressive breakouts after a while of using

By

from Devon, UK

Comments about clearing skin wash:

I have suffered with acne for a while and was hoping this wash along with a few other products in this line would help. I love Dermalogica products however i would be careful with this wash. Its very harsh and immediately my skin flared up with very nasty breakouts - after a few months of using i had hoped it may calm down but it seems this wash irritates more than anything. Im sure it works on some people but if you have sensitive acne skin- i would be careful using this product.

Only cleanser I'll ever use!

By

from Lismore, Australia

Comments about clearing skin wash:

I've been using this cleanser every day for just over two years and the only thing that disappoints me is the fact I didn't try it sooner! I'm 23 and have been dealing with acne for nearly ten years and have tried nearly every product under the sun. This is my favourite cleanser as it does it's job and reduces my breakouts without drying my skin out. It is expensive but the 500ml bottle that I buy lasts me nearly a whole year as you only need a pea sized amount each use. Please be aware that for some people, within the first few weeks of using this cleanser your skin may get worse before you start seeing results, this happened to me but with further research I found that this process was normal and my skin was just purging itself from all the dirt and bacteria deep in my pores.

This might be the product i use for the rest of my life

By

from Boston

Comments about clearing skin wash:

This face was is so wonderful. One of the greatest thing about this, other than the fact that it has giving life again, is the small portions needed. Whenever other products say "just need a pea size amount", it is wrong. But the skin wash only needs that amount and even then, I feel like I have used too much because I can clean my entire face and then some.

LOVE!

By

from Woodland Hills, CA

Comments about clearing skin wash:

I have been using this product just over a month, and I still love it. I noticed a difference in my skin after one week of using it. It doesn't strip your skin, or leave it feeling tight and dry. It lathers really well. Highly recommend for acne prone skin, it even worked with my cystic. Exfolation is necessary with that skin type and the salicylic in this cleanser works really well.

Comments about clearing skin wash:

I have adult acne and have used many different high end products this one by far has been the best yet. It can be a little drying so I just use it 2-3 days a week. Highly recommended!

    Hi,
I'm 23 years old and I've started to get red painful spots on my chin and cheeks. The spots are leaving marks on my face. I have never had acne. Can you please recommend the best product/s?

      A:

      Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. You should use a spot treatment, since you are only breaking out in certain spots. Breakout Control is an acid-free spot treatment that is non-drying. However, it is very effective. Apply a thin, clear layer to breakouts. Use it under moisturizer, morning and night.

      Kind Regards,

  • Q:

Hi, I was hoping to get some help deciding whether or not this product is right for me as well as a suggested daily regime for my skin type.

I'm 23 years old and fair skinned. I get occassional pimples (one or two) on my forehead and chin. Recently, however, I've noticed a lot of congestion on my chin/around the corners of my mouth - a bunch of whiteheads and some blackheads which are definitely visible and making the area turn red. I also have quite a bit of blackheads on my nose (always have) but I'm not as concerned about this as I am the area around my mouth. I have some tiny flesh colored bumps on my forehead but it looks pretty clear for the most part. I wouldn't say I have a "full face of acne" but I've always heard that people who suffer from congested pores should use a product daily containing salicylic acid.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

      A:

      Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. Clearing Skin Wash is for a full face of acne. It is important to be patient and persistent with acne products. It can take time to manage acne. Additionally, there are so many internal and external contributing factors that must be addressed. Finally, it is normal to purge in the beginning. Be sure to follow with a spot treatment and light weight, oil-free moisturizer.

      Kind Regards,
      Bernadette
